How To Hide File on Android Device (Android Guide)
To hide files such as pictures or videos which detected on gallery, can be tricked without application. Even files are not detected in “My Files” or also know as android default file manager.
However, these file can still be seen in file manager applications that is more “advanced”, like Root Explorer.
To hide the files, you just need put all files that want to hide in one folder. Then your need to rename the file. For example “my data”. Then rename the folder with a dot prefix (.) for example “.my data” and then apply.
After that you look at the Gallery or My File (android default file manager). Then you will not find the folder, “. my data”
